Warranty Advantage - Maintenance Program

From on-site maintenance and depot repair to advance unit replacement and 7x24 availability, NewWave has you covered; one call takes care of it all.

On-site Maintenance Programs
NewWave offers nationwide coverage with local attention to your unique needs. In cooperation with a nationwide network of factory-trained technicians, we offer on-site maintenance contracts on products from more than 100 manufacturers.  Since contract management is our core competency, you can be assured that once a product is placed under a maintenance contract and requires service, one call to our national dispatch center at 888-677-4888 is all it takes. Our online representative will dispatch a technician and determine an arrival time based upon your contract requirements. We will stay in contact with you until the problem is resolved. We will also send you renewal notices as a friendly reminder to contact your customer for contract renewal:

  • 4-hour and next business day response times
  • 7 days a week - 24 hours a day (7x24) coverage
  • Warranty Enhancements - Upgrade parts only and depot repair warranties to on-site support
  • Contract Management - Our specialists will handle all of your contract needs from beginning to end

Advance Exchange
Equipment that is important, yet not business critical, fits nicely into our Advance Exchange program.  Not as costly but still time sensitive, Advance Exchange is a great alternative.   We provide phone support and replacement for the malfunctioning product with next-business-day delivery of an exchange unit. When encountering difficulty with a product under contract, simply call our hotline. If we can't resolve the problem over the phone, we will ship an exchange unit, which you receive the following day. Then return your malfunctioning unit to us within 5 business days. Products commonly utilized for advance exchange are small to medium scanners.  Advance Exchange is not recommended for scanners that are considered business critical. 

Depot Repair
Customers generally utilize our depot center when uptime is less critical. Once the product is returned to our facility, factory certified technicians will diagnose, repair and quickly return the equipment to you. Leverage our depot repair capabilities for warranty and non-warranty repair with the follow options:

  • Fixed rate / time agreements
  • Time and Material agreements
Installation and Training
When onsite installation is required, you need to rely on an experienced professional.  NewWave will arrange for a Certified Technician to install your document management hardware and software, and then train your operators on your equipment, including system features, operation, troubleshooting, etc.

Consumable Kits
NewWave provides you with a complete range of materials for scanner maintenance, which consists of consumable parts as well as cleaning materials. Maintenance starts with the day-to-day cleaning work done by the operator.  The amount of cleaning required and the need to exchange consumable materials depends on the quality and amount of paper being fed through the scanner.

To get the best possible feeder performance, best image quality and optimal durability from the scanner, use professional cleaning materials and original scanner consumable materials such as:

  • Roller cleaning pads
  • Transport cleaning sheets
  • Staticide wipes
  • Calibration targets
  • Feeder and Separation Rollers
